The study is nationally representative of the population over 18 years of age. The sample is stochastic, two-stage nested with a volume of 937 people. The research was carried out in the month of December 2022 through a direct semi-standardized interview in the homes of the respondents.
The basis of the research concept is the definition of risk as “the probability of a direct or indirect harmful effect on human individuals and communities” (Genov N.).
During the study, information was collected on risks related to the security of the person (physical such as health and protection from criminal encroachments, as well as economic), of the person’s property, and natural and environmental risks. The information refers to the perception, the assessment of risks and the behavior with a view to their prevention and minimization of negative effects in the event of their occurrence, expectations of actions of state authorities and other supra-individual social entities, to evaluate their actions.
