Conference with international participation, to be held on May 10, 2023
We invite scientists, university professors, and specialists from various disciplines of social sciences and humanities to present the results of their research, dedicated to problems such as the nature of risks, modern society as a risk society, types of risks, perception, and assessment of various risks, personal and institutional strategies for risk prevention, responding to risks, dealing with damage from risks, assessing the activities of various social actors related to risks and damage from them, etc.
The conference takes place within the framework of the project “Personal and institutional strategies for risk prevention and management: specifics and determinants”, financed by the National Institute of Scientific Research – Ministry of Education and Culture (Contract No. KP-06 H55/9 dated 16.11. 2021).
Working languages: Bulgarian and English.
Requests should contain: the title of the report accompanied by an abstract (150 – 200 words), 3-5 keywords, the first and last name of the author, the institution where he works, email address, and be sent by April 25, 2023, to the following e-mail: mksk@abv.bg.
Bulgarian participants must send the information requested in the applications in Bulgarian and in English, and foreign participants – only in English.
Information on approved applications will be sent by April 30, 2023.
The conference papers, after approval by the editorial board, will be published in a peer-reviewed collection. The requirements for their formation will be announced at the same time as the information about the approved applications.
The deadline for sending the full text of the reports is 10 May 2023.
There is no registration fee for participation in the Conference.
Travel expenses and accommodation expenses of the participants are not covered.
The conference is planned to be held in a hybrid format (with presence on-site and online on the ZOOM platform).
